LEARN IF YOU HAVE A HORMONE IMBALANCE WITH TESTING BY BALANCE HORMONE CENTER

You have three main types of hormones in your body: estrogen, progesterone and testosterone. As you age, these hormones begin to naturally decline. When one of these hormones becomes unbalanced, however, you may experience negative changes in your body.

At Balance Hormone Center, we offer hormone imbalance testing for women. These tests help to determine if your levels are off. From there, we provide hormone replacement therapy to get you back to feeling like yourself again.

SYMPTOMS OF HORMONE IMBALANCES IN WOMEN

For women, some of these symptoms that signal a hormone imbalance may include:

  • Heavy or irregular menstrual cycles
  • Hirsutism or excessive hair on the face, chin and throughout the body
  • Thinning hair or hair loss
  • Weight gain
  • Skin tags
  • Night sweats
  • Skin darkening

It’s important to note that your normal hormonal cycle will change naturally due to pregnancy, premenopause, perimenopause, menopause and postmenopause. To determine a true imbalance, testing is required.

HORMONE IMBALANCE TESTING BY BALANCE HORMONE CENTER

There are multiple tests we can do to find hormone imbalances in your body. The most common test is a blood test. We’ll take a sample of your blood and send it to a lab for testing. You may also require additional testing such as a pelvic exam. A pap smear can ensure there are no unusual cysts or tumors to blame for an imbalance.
We may also suggest an ultrasound to check your thyroid, uterus or ovaries for abnormalities. Other testing options include biopsies, MRIs and x-rays.

At your first appointment, we’ll discuss your symptoms and testing options. Once we receive the results of your tests, we’ll then decide together which treatment options are best for you.

OUR AVAILABLE HORMONE IMBALANCE TREATMENTS

Balance Hormone Center offers a wide range of treatment options to help alleviate the symptoms of a hormone imbalance.

ESTROGEN REPLACEMENT THERAPY

Whether you have a natural deficiency due to menopause or some other cause, estrogen replacement therapy can help. We use bioidentical hormone replacement (BHRT), a therapy process with few side effects and many health benefits.

PITUITARY TREATMENT

Your pituitary gland controls the hormone output of many other glands. It signals them to produce hormones that control reproductive functions, growth, blood pressure and more. When your pituitary gland is out of balance, you may experience symptoms such as infertility, headaches, high blood pressure, weight gain and more.

We offer various pituitary treatment options such as steroids to treat ACTH deficiency, thyroid hormone replacement, estrogen and progesterone treatments and more.

SERMORELIN HGH TREATMENT

Human growth hormone (HGH) levels start to naturally decline once you turn 40. As a result, you may experience symptoms such as weight gain, decreased energy and low libido. Sermorelin treatment can help. By injecting hormones, we can stimulate your pituitary gland to produce more HGH.

THYROID HORMONE TREATMENT

Hypothyroidism is a common ailment experienced by aging women. It happens when your thyroid stops making the hormones your body needs to run properly. We offer thyroid hormone treatment (THT) to help make up for the deficiency and eliminate your symptoms.

We also offer treatment options for Vitamin D and B deficiencies, as well as anti-aging and medical weight loss.
