SMS Terms & Conditions
Last updated: September 8, 2026
Message program
Balance Hormone Center, LLC (“Balance Hormone Center”, “we”, “us”) offers a text
message (SMS) program that helps patients manage their scheduled care. The
program is available to patients who have given us their mobile number and have
affirmatively consented to receive text messages.
This page covers our appointment messages program only. We
operate a second, separate program for patient messages —
secure links to forms we ask you to complete and to summaries of your visits
— which has its own consent and its own terms at
SMS Terms & Conditions for patient messages.
Enrolling in one does not enroll you in the other, and you may opt out of
either without affecting the other.
What we send
Messages in this program are limited to appointment and scheduling matters:
- reminders of upcoming appointments;
- confirmations of appointments you have booked;
- notices when an appointment is rescheduled; and
- notices when an appointment is cancelled.
We do not send marketing or promotional text messages through this program. We
do not send lab results, diagnoses, or other sensitive clinical information by
text message, and we do not include web links in appointment messages.
Links are sent only in the separate patient messages program described
above, and only to patients who have consented to it.
How you opt in
You opt in during Balance Hormone Center patient intake. Providing a mobile
number is optional. If you provide one, you must additionally select a separate
consent checkbox, which is unchecked by default, to enroll in text messages. The
disclosure shown next to that checkbox identifies Balance Hormone Center,
describes the messages, and links to this page and to our Privacy Policy.
You can also reply START to a message from us to re-enroll after
opting out.
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase or of
treatment.
You will receive the same care whether or not you enroll, and you may withdraw
consent at any time.
Message frequency and cost
Message frequency varies — it depends on how many appointments
you have scheduled and whether they change.
Message and data rates may apply. Balance Hormone Center does
not charge for these messages, but your mobile carrier may charge you for
messages or data according to your plan. Contact your carrier for details about
your plan.
How to stop
Reply STOP to any message from us to cancel. You will receive a
single confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and we will not send you
further messages in this program. You can also call or email us using the
details below and ask us to remove you.

Supported carriers include AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, and most other
U.S. carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy
Our handling of your mobile number and your consent is described in our

Changes to these terms
We may update these SMS Terms & Conditions. Changes will be posted on this
page with a revised “Last updated” date. Your continued participation in the
program after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
