No, acne laser treatment isn’t permanent. Yet, it is very effective. Results can be seen in as little as 12 hours after your treatment. The longevity of your results will depend on your skin type, size of the treatment area, type of acne and other factors.
HOW MANY TREATMENTS DO I NEED?
For the best results, we recommend starting with three treatments. After the initial three treatments, some patients may require more depending on the extent of the acne.
IS LASER ACNE TREATMENT PAINFUL?
Some discomfort may occur with your treatment, but you shouldn’t feel pain. Most lasers feel like rubber bands snapping lightly against the skin. Yet, the feeling of the laser will depend on the area of the treatment and the type of acne.
The most common complaint we receive is a slight headache after treatment. With some over-the-counter ibuprofen, this initial headache will subside.
