There are many aesthetics treatments available to help you look and feel your best, from laser treatments to Botox to hair rejuvenation. Read answers to commonly asked questions about aesthetics here or reach out to our clinic for more information.
How Do Laser Treatments Work?
Most lasers use heat and energy to penetrate your skin, clearing blemishes, tightening the skin to reduce wrinkles, removing acne and more. Because of their small size, lasers can help aestheticians work precisely to get great results. At Balance Hormone, we use a range of lasers, including IPL, Nd:YAG and more, depending on your treatment.

How Does Laser Facial Resurfacing Work?
Laser facial resurfacing works by delivering concentrated beams of light to the outer layer of your skin in short pulses. The laser energy is attracted to the water in your skin, which is captured in the epidermis and dermis layers. It creates a thermal injury that jumpstarts the skin's repair process.

How Does Spider Vein Removal Treatment Work?
At Balance Hormone, we use a laser called the Spectrum Nd:YAG laser to penetrate through the skin. The laser is delivered through the skin and directly into the spider vein. After heating with the laser, the vein walls collapse and seal shut. Your body then breaks down and reabsorbs the sealed vein. This method is so effective that you'll likely see results immediately after your treatment.

How Does Laser Hair Removal Work?
During the laser hair removal process, we use a Diode laser to target specific areas. The laser emits light that is then absorbed by the melanin in the body hair. As the light penetrates the hair, it's converted into heat that damages the hair follicles. The follicle damage limits future hair growth. After a few treatment sessions, hair stops growing at all.

How Does Radiofrequency Microneedling Work?
At Balance Hormone, we use a unique system called the PiXel8-RF system. It uses radiofrequency (RF) beams that are delivered directly into the layers of the skin to heat and stimulate collagen production. Alongside the RF beams, the system uses traditional micro-needles to penetrate the skin. You'll see a smoother skin surface with fewer fine lines and wrinkles.

What Are My Facial Filler Options?
When it comes to facial fillers, you have several options. At Balance Hormone Center in Gilbert, Arizona, we help clients choose the right facial filler. Options include BELOTERO BALANCE, an FDA-approved facial filler used to temporarily smooth moderate to severe wrinkles and folds, as well as Restylane, which is a hyaluronic acid filler that helps correct moderate to severe wrinkles, lines and folds.

What Is Botox?
Botox originates with Clostridium botulinum, which produces a powerful substance that can stop muscles from moving temporarily. When the muscles below the skin relax, lines and wrinkles do too.

What Is Evolve Body Contouring?
Evolve is a hands-free skin and body remodeling system. It helps to improve the appearance of cellulite, tones muscles, and smooths the skin and tissue on your abdomen, love handles, hips and thighs. It works with radiofrequency energy and electrical muscle stimulation (EMS).

What Is PRP Hair Rejuvenation?
PRP is a concentrate of the platelet-rich protein in your blood. To make PRP, your blood is centrifuged to remove the red blood cells. What's left is powerful PRP, which is responsible for natural and regenerative healing. We use PRP to help boost your natural hair growth.
