WHAT ARE NOSE FILLERS?
Nose fillers are injectable soft tissue fillers injected into the skin to help contour, add volume and restore the smooth appearance of your nose. Nose fillers are non-surgical and less-invasive, completed in an office setting.
HOW LONG DO NOSE FILLERS LAST? ARE THEY PERMANENT?
Although they’re not permanent, nose fillers typically last six months to two years, depending on the type of filler used. Results will also vary depending on the anatomy of your nose and the look you’re attempting to achieve.
HOW MUCH ARE NOSE FILLERS?
Nose fillers range in price from $500 to $900, depending on the product used and the amount of filler required to reach your desired results. Before we move forward with your treatment, we’ll discuss all costs associated with your filler.
WHAT TYPE OF FILLERS ARE USED FOR THE NOSE?
We use hyaluronic acid fillers or collagen stimulators. Hyaluronic acid, found naturally throughout the body, attracts water, which hydrates the skin and increases its volume. Collagen stimulators simply stimulate your body’s own collagen production in the deeper layers of your skin.
The common products we use include but are not limited to Juvéderm®, Belotero Balance® and Sculptra®.
CAN I GET NOSE FILLERS AFTER RHINOPLASTY?
Yes. As long as six months or more have passed since your rhinoplasty surgery, we can start nose filler treatment.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR NOSE FILLERS TO SETTLE?
It can take anywhere from one to two weeks for your nose fillers to settle. This length of time will depend on many factors such as the type of filler used, the area of treatment and your unique skin type.
ARE NOSE FILLERS DANGEROUS?
If the filler is performed by an experienced injector or technician, the risks are minimal. Risks associated with nose shaping and fillers include inflammation, allergic reactions, swelling, pain and bruising.
With any treatment, there are symptoms such as swelling that are completely normal and should disappear in a couple of days. If symptoms don’t subside, it’s important to reach out to us.
HOW DO I REDUCE SWELLING AFTER A NOSE FILLER?
For normal swelling, you can use an ice pack to reduce it and related inflammation after your treatment. These symptoms should subside within a few days and your filler should settle within one to two weeks.
CAN NOSE FILLERS MAKE YOUR NOSE SMALLER?
No. Nose fillers aren’t used to reduce the size of your nose. Instead, they’re used to smooth out, add volume, and contour areas of the nose to help with issues such as disfigurement and volume loss. The only way to reduce the size of your nose is via rhinoplasty.
