Dermal Fillers & Botox Injection Services to Fight Lines & Wrinkles
OFFERING 3 UNIQUE INJECTION TYPES
Injectables, also known as dermal fillers, are both powerful and safe when used to reduce and remove frown lines and wrinkles. The treatments are fast and relatively painless, offered in an outpatient setting with virtually no recovery time. At Balance Hormone Center, we offer three different injectable options.
XEOMIN®
Xeomin® works by blocking the release of chemicals that cause muscles in the forehead to contract, softening the appearance of frown lines. We administer Xeomin® via injection directly into the muscle tissue. Most patients see a noticeable difference within thirty days after the injection, with typical results lasting four to five months.
DYSPORT®
For moderate to severe frown lines, we use Dysport® to prevent muscle contractions that cause frown lines. Dysport® is popular due to its natural-looking results, allowing the rest of the face to move naturally and avoiding the frozen look too often associated with fillers.
BOTOX®
Made from a natural, non-toxic organism (Clostridium botulinum), Botox® is most commonly used to reduce fine lines and wrinkles on the face. It works by temporarily reducing muscle activity that causes lines to form over time.
FAST & PAINLESS TREATMENT FOR LINES & WRINKLES
Although different injectables have unique formulas, the treatment process is basically the same across the board. We inject the filler into the target area, in this case, the forehead, using an ultra-fine needle. The small size of the needle reduces any discomfort associated with the procedure.
Although side effects are minor, you may see bruising, swelling, redness or tenderness around the injection site after your treatment. Most side effects should resolve within a few days.
