MELISSA LEBOUTON, PA-C
(SCOTTSDALE, AZ BRANCH)
Melissa LeBouton PA-C was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. She is a Board-Certified Physician Assistant. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Human Anatomy from Grand Canyon University and her Masters in Medical Sciences from Midwestern University in Glendale, AZ in 2008. She worked in primary care in Sun City West, AZ for over a decade. She teaches at Northern Arizona University’s Physician Assistant Program in downtown Phoenix instructing upcoming PA’s on medical interviewing skills, physical exam skills, injection skills, and walking them through educational case studies.
Her method of treating patients is holistic and largely educational – helping you understand what disease processes or imbalances may be going on and then educating you on the different treatment options available. Then discussing and deciding what treatment routes best align with your lifestyle and goals. When possible, she attempts to get to “root cause” issues (sometimes that is as simple as menopause or andropause!) and works on correcting it through lifestyle changes, nutrition changes, supplements, bioidentical hormone replacement, or any combination of the above! She has really enjoyed seeing the improvements in quality of life that so many of her patients have already experienced with Bioidentical Hormone Replacement.
It’s cliché, but as an Arizona native she enjoys hiking, biking, and exploring northern Arizona on day trips with her family. As a mother of 3 she understands how difficult it can be trying to keep a healthy lifestyle while working, getting kids to school, taking them to their afterschool activities, etc. Her favorite forms of exercise are dancing, yoga, hiking, kayaking, or wake surfing. Her favorite treat is dark chocolate.
