Julie Osgood is a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner who graduated from Grand Canyon University in 2017. Her journey in healthcare started in 1995 as a basic EMT at Rural/Metro Fire Department in Tucson, AZ. She later went on to become a full-time Firefighter/Paramedic, making her one of three women on the fire department at the time. Before becoming a Nurse Practitioner (NP), she spent 12 years as a Paramedic/Firefighter, 2 years as a Flight Paramedic, and 10 years as an Emergency Room Nurse at a level one trauma center. The past 5 years she has worked in the Urgent Care as a NP, serving the local community during the pandemic. Like many, the COVID pandemic prompted her to make a change in her life and career.
Her most recent training includes coursework in Anti-aging, Bio-identical hormone replacement therapies, peptide therapies, hormone pellets, medical weight loss, Botox and fillers. She also possesses previous experience in non-opioid pain management techniques which including trigger point injections, joint injections using PRP and stem cell regenerative therapies.
As a bioidentical hormone patient herself, she is committed to treating each patient individually by formulating the best plan of care for the best possible outcomes.
Fun fact, she has a second degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do and is married to an actively competing third degree black belt in Jiu Jitsu. She has two human children and three fur babies. Her passions are traveling and exploring the outdoors.
